Tokyo to Touge

Participation Acknowledgement and Waiver

Effective 22 October 2026

Every guest reads this before riding. The lead guest accepts it online for the group; each guest signs the declaration at check-in.

1. The activity and its risks

You ride as a passenger in a car driven hard and sideways on a narrow, blind, rough closed mountain course with no escape zones. Guests never drive. Strong sudden forces, contact with cars, barriers or objects, mechanical failure and changing weather or road surface can happen even when everyone takes care, and can cause serious injury or death. You understand this and choose to take part.

2. Your declaration (signed at check-in)

Guests who are only watching sign the same declaration.

3. What this does not do

This acknowledges risk; it is not a full release. It does not exclude or limit liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, including for our intentional or grossly negligent acts and injury caused by our negligence, and it does not affect your rights as a consumer. We carry no event insurance for guests: please carry your own travel and personal accident insurance.

4. Emergency details and photos

At check-in you may give an emergency contact and any medical information you want staff to know. Staff call 119 in an emergency. We use this only for safety and keep the signed form for 3 years, then destroy it. Photos and film follow section 7 of the Terms of Service; tell staff at the briefing if you do not want to appear.

5. Accepting this document

When you accept online before paying, you confirm that you have read the Terms of Service and this document and accept them for yourself and, as lead guest, that you have shown them to every guest in your group and each will sign at check-in. A guest who does not sign cannot ride, and no refund is due, to the extent the law allows.
