Tokyo to Touge

Terms of Service

Effective 22 October 2026

These terms apply to bookings for Tokyo to Touge events run by Togemachi Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”). Accommodation and vehicle rental have their own terms on the main Touge Town site.

1. The event

Tokyo to Touge is a passenger drift experience on the Gunsai (Gunma Cycle Sports Center) closed course, Course A, for up to 20 guests per date. Guests ride as passengers beside professional drivers. Guests never drive. The first date is Friday 25 December 2026. We hire the course from its operator; we are an independent organiser and not part of the venue.

2. How booking works

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in Japanese yen and include consumption tax. The ticket price and each add-on are shown on the event page when you build your ticket. Payment is by credit or debit card through Stripe, or by PayPal if we offer it in your confirmation. Train and shinkansen fares to and from Jōmō-Kōgen Station, and any fees charged by your card issuer, are your own cost.

4. What is included

Each ticket includes up to four passenger rides, of which three are guaranteed, rotating through the cars; station pickup and return between Jōmō-Kōgen Station and the venue; and time in the paddock. If we deliver fewer than three rides for a reason within our control (for example a car failing), you may choose a refund for each missing guaranteed ride, a free Photo Set, or a free place on a later date. See the Cancellation and Refund Policy for the amount.

5. Eligibility and participation

Guests must be at least 18 years old, follow the Participation and Safety Rules, accept the Participation Acknowledgement and Waiver when booking, and sign its declaration at check-in. We may refuse or end participation where this is needed for safety, for example if a guest has been drinking, will not wear a helmet, or ignores staff instructions. In that case no refund is due, to the extent the law allows.

6. Changes and cancellation

The Cancellation and Refund Policy sets out what happens if you cancel, if we cancel or reschedule, and if the weather or the venue stops the day. It forms part of these terms.

7. Photos and film

We photograph and film the day and may use material that shows guests in public areas for our promotion. If you do not want to appear, tell our staff at the briefing and we will avoid or remove you where practicable. Onboard footage of you is made only if you buy a media package or agree to it. Do not fly drones or film other guests without their consent.

8. Risk and our liability

Riding in a car driven hard on a closed course carries real risk. By taking part you accept the risks that are inherent in the activity and that we have explained. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for our intentional or grossly negligent acts or for injury caused by our negligence. Subject to that, and to the extent the law allows, our liability to you for any one booking is limited to the amount you paid for it. We recommend that you carry your own travel and personal accident insurance.

9. Your responsibility

You are responsible for your own decision to take part, for your own conduct and for following staff instructions, for the accuracy of the information you give us, and for your own belongings. As lead guest you are also responsible for making sure each guest in your group has read these documents and signs the declaration at check-in. Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that the law does not allow to be excluded (see section 8).

10. Independence and trademarks

Tokyo to Touge is an independent event. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to any film, comic, video series, magazine, manufacturer or other brand. Names and marks that appear belong to their owners.

11. Personal information

We handle personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these terms and governing law

We may update these terms; the version in force when we confirm your booking applies to it. These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Maebashi District Court (or Maebashi Summary Court) is the agreed court of first instance for any dispute, except where mandatory law gives a consumer another forum.
