Tokyo to Touge

Participation Acknowledgement and Waiver

Effective 22 October 2026

Every guest reads this before riding. The lead guest accepts it online when booking, for the whole group, and each guest signs the declaration at check-in.

1. What you are taking part in

You will ride as a passenger in a car driven hard and sideways on a closed mountain course. The course is narrow, blind and rough, with no escape zones. Guests never drive.

2. The risks

Strong and sudden forces, contact with other cars, barriers or objects, mechanical failure, and changes in weather and road surface can happen even when everyone takes care. They can cause serious injury or death. You understand these risks and choose to take part.

3. Your declaration (signed on the day)

4. What this does not do

This is an acknowledgement of risk, not a full release. It does not exclude or limit liability that the law does not allow to be excluded, including liability for our intentional or grossly negligent acts and for injury caused by our negligence. It does not affect your legal rights as a consumer.

5. Insurance

We confirm a date and take payment only when the venue’s permission and the insurance required for that date are in place. We recommend that you also carry your own travel and personal accident insurance.

6. Photos and film

Photos and film are covered by section 7 of the Terms of Service. Tell our staff at the briefing if you do not want to appear.

7. Emergency details

On the day you may give an emergency contact and any medical information you want staff to know. Staff call 119 in an emergency. We use this only for safety and keep the signed form for 3 years, the period in which a claim can be made, and then destroy it.

8. Accepting this document

When you tick the box on the booking form, and again on the page that opens before payment, you confirm that you have read the Terms of Service, the Cancellation and Refund Policy, the Participation and Safety Rules and this document; that you accept them for yourself; and that, as lead guest, you have shown them to every guest in your group and each will sign the declaration at check-in. A guest who does not sign on the day cannot ride, and no refund is due, to the extent the law allows.

Check-in declaration

Printed copy for the day. Each guest completes one.
